The Yerevan Ararat Brandy, Wine and Vodka Factory, owned by Prosperous Armenia Party leader Gagik Tsarukyan, has been placed under the administration of the Armenian state, according to the Prosecutor General's Office.
The office said the decision was issued by the Anti-Corruption Court as part of proceedings on the confiscation of allegedly illicitly acquired assets, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.
Under the ruling, the company's shares have been transferred to the state's administration and protection pending the outcome of the proceedings.
