Israeli Air Force destroys Iranian radars, air defence batteries in Syria PHOTO

Two batteries of the latest Iranian air defence system Khordad-15 were destroyed during recent Israeli strikes on Syrian territory.

Two radar installations of the Bavar-373 anti-aircraft missile system, called the Iranian equivalent of the Russian S-300 system, were also destroyed. Iranian installations were unable to respond to the strikes, Nziv.net reports.

During a recent visit to Iran by Syrian Defence Minister Ali Mahmoud Abbas, an agreement was reached on the supply of additional Iranian air defence systems to Syria. They should replace the Russian weapons transferred to the Ukrainian front.
