Official: Türkiye, Azerbaijan continue to work on new directions of cooperation

Mutual visits of heads of state and representatives of state bodies are designed for the further development of ties between Türkiye and Azerbaijan, Turkish Grand National Assembly’s Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Fuat Oktay said.

"We are working on new directions of inter-parliamentary cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, we plan to deepen ties in all spheres," he said, Azertaj informs.

Stressing that the possibility of developing cooperation not only at the interstate level but also at the inter-parliamentary level within the framework of the Organisation of Turkic States is being considered, Fuat Oktay added that there are some proposals intended to be implemented after their evaluation.

“We are interested in our foreign relations departments to unite and cooperate closely within the Organisation of Turkic States. We will utilise all potential opportunities available for close cooperation between our countries,” he added.
