Qarabag FK target Fortaleza forward as attacking reinforcement
Qarabag FK are closing in on a move to bolster their attacking options, with the club in advanced talks to sign Brazilian forward Daniel Troyano, according to reports cited by Oxu.Az.
The 21-year-old striker, currently under contract with Fortaleza EC, is seen as a strong candidate to reinforce Qarabag’s frontline ahead of the upcoming campaign. Sources indicate that the probability of the deal being finalised in the near term is high.
Troyano spent the previous season on the books of Floresta EC, where he gained regular playing time while developing his attacking profile.
His contract with Fortaleza is set to expire on July 18, a factor that could facilitate a smooth transfer. As a result, Qarabag are expected to secure the forward’s services on a free transfer, a move that would represent a low-risk but potentially high-upside addition to the squad.
For Qarabag, a club with consistent ambitions in European competitions, the signing would underline a strategy focused on young, emerging talent capable of making an immediate impact.
