Researcher: France committed massacres in Morocco
France has attacked Morocco several times throughout history and committed massacres.
According to Report, Moroccan researcher Khadija Boutkhili made the remark while speaking at the international conference "Neo-colonialism: human rights violations and injustice" organized by the Baku Initiative Group in Baku.
Boutkhili said that after several inconclusive attacks, France did invade Morocco.
"France flouted international law in Morocco, which caused a social crisis and mass starvation in the country. Morocco regained its independence after years of struggle, but France still continues to interfere in the internal affairs of our country," Boutkhili said.
In conclusion, she thanked the Azerbaijani government for organising the event.
It should be noted that the Baku Initiative Group was established on July 6, 2023, in Baku by participants of the conference "Total Elimination of Colonialism" within the framework of the ministerial meeting of the Coordinating Bureau of the Non-Aligned Movement chaired by Azerbaijan.
BIG supports the struggle for freedom of the peoples of different regions of the world still suffering from colonisation in the 21st century.
On September 22, BIG held a conference on "Decolonisation: The Quiet Revolution" at UN Headquarters.
