Boeing 757 plane catches fire just after takeoff VIDEO

A Condor Airlines Boeing 757-300 plane, en route from the Greek island of Corfu to Düsseldorf, caught fire shortly after takeoff.

The aircraft, carrying 263 passengers and eight crew members, experienced an engine fire immediately after departing, Caliber.Az informs via foreign media.

Pilots swiftly decided to perform an emergency landing in Brindisi, Italy, where the plane touched down safely.

Airline representatives said the fire was caused by a disruption in the engine’s airflow.

Many passengers had to spend the night at Brindisi airport due to a shortage of hotel accommodations. Condor dispatched another aircraft to transport travelers to Düsseldorf.
