Rheinmetall concern ready to send Ukraine only Leopard tanks

The German defence group Rheinmetall can transfer a large amount of ammunition for Leopard tanks that will be sent to Ukraine.

The concern has significantly increased its capacity - especially in the large-calibre sector, Rheinische Post reports.

"We have invested and will continue to do so, strengthening production and recruiting additional staff. We are doing everything possible to support Ukraine, NATO and the German government," Rheinmetall said.

Thanks to the increased capacity, the company is able to meet the expected increase in demand from the Bundeswehr for other Leopard tanks.
