Türkiye’s Foreign Ministry pledges continued support for TURKPA

Türkiye’s Foreign Ministry will continue providing comprehensive support for the activities of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States (TURKPA) under the leadership of Secretary General Ramil Hasan, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said during a visit to Azerbaijan.

He made the remarks at a meeting with Hasan, where discussions focused on TURKPA’s activities over the past year, preparations for its upcoming plenary session and the development of a common parliamentary strategy, Caliber.Az reports.

They also exchanged views on strengthening cooperation with the Organisation of Turkic States (OTS) to achieve common goals, as well as the importance of maintaining regular contacts with the foreign ministries of the organization’s member states.

TURKPA Deputy Secretary General Muhammet Alper Hayali also attended the meeting.
