Russia sends another wheat shipment to Armenia via Azerbaijan
Another shipment of grain from Russia to Armenia is being transported through Azerbaijan, with more than 1,100 metric tons of wheat and 273 metric tons of barley loaded onto railway cars.
According to the information provided, 1,108 metric tons of wheat were loaded onto 11 railcars, while 273 metric tons of barley were loaded onto four railcars, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
The shipment will depart from the Bilajari station of Azerbaijan Railways and travel to the Boyuk Kesik station on the border with Georgia.
To date, more than 47,000 metric tons of grain, around 9,000 metric tons of fertiliser, 1,136 metric tons of propane, 133 metric tons of aluminium, 1,114 metric tons of coal and 67 metric tons of timber have been transported from Russia to Armenia in transit through Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijan has also exported around 15,000 metric tons of diesel fuel and approximately 5,000 metric tons of AI-92 and AI-95 gasoline to Armenia.
