SOCAR charity fund finances major repairs to Irpin polyclinic
The SOCAR Blago Charity Fund has financed the overhaul of a polyclinic in Ukraine's Irpin city, including major building repairs, facade insulation, roof renovation, window replacements, and the restoration of entrance areas.
According to the company’s press service, the second phase of the building's restoration will include the construction of a radiation shelter, the installation of a modern fire safety system, and new ventilation systems, Caliber.Az reports, citing Ukrainian media.
In addition, last year, SOCAR funded the restoration of Irpin's Lyceum No. 12, which had suffered significant damage during the fighting. The repair cost for the educational facility amounted to 112 million UAH.
SOCAR is also recognized for its pioneering role in Ukraine by introducing inclusivity and barrier-free access at its filling stations. The company has received multiple awards for making its facilities accessible to people with reduced mobility and parents with children. SOCAR's filling stations are equipped with sliding doors, ramps, specially designed restrooms, changing tables, children's corners, child-friendly menus, and first-aid kits with specialized supplies, as well as devices for measuring blood pressure.
Beyond inclusivity, SOCAR has set a high standard in service design for other fueling station brands. Each SOCAR station serves as a service hub, offering business meeting spaces, markets, full-service restaurants, and pre-order food and drink services, which staff can deliver directly to customers' vehicles. Other features include contactless payment terminals (SOCAR Pay), interactive multi-touch children's tables, free Wi-Fi, phone charging stations, business corners, and more.
SOCAR Energy Ukraine operates in 11 regions with 57 filling stations, providing convenient and inclusive infrastructure for customers.
