SOCAR official: Azerbaijan reliable supplier of crude oil to Europe

Azerbaijan is an important supplier of crude oil to European countries, head of SOCAR's international relations department Ali Shahbazov said during the international seminar "Visegrad countries and Azerbaijan".

"Natural gas is not the only energy product that Azerbaijan exports to Europe. For more than 20 years we have been a reliable partner of Europe in terms of crude oil supplies," he said, according to Report.

Shahbazov also noted the importance of Azerbaijan's successful cooperation with the countries of the Visegrad Four.

"We are confident that our fruitful cooperation with the countries of the four will give good results in resolving the energy crisis observed in recent years," he stressed.

Shahbazov also added that at the moment Azerbaijan has significant potential in the field of renewable energy sources - wind, solar and other types of green energy.
