Azerbaijan, Georgia discuss boosting economic cooperation PHOTO
Azerbaijan and Georgia have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral economic ties during a high-level meeting held in Baku this week.
A delegation led by Georgian Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Mariam Kvrivishvili was welcomed to Azerbaijan, where both sides discussed deepening cooperation in key sectors including energy, transport, infrastructure, trade, and investment, Caliber.Az reports.
Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov highlighted the strategic importance of the partnership in a statement shared on social media.
“We were pleased to welcome the delegation led by the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Mariam Kvrivishvili, to our country,” Jabbarov wrote on X. “During the meeting, we reviewed the priority areas for the development of Azerbaijan–Georgia economic relations and discussed prospects for enhanced cooperation.”

Jabbarov emphasized that both countries see significant value in joint initiatives.
“We also emphasized the mutual benefits of joint projects for both countries and the broader region,” he added.
