Azerbaijan, Saudi Arabia discuss cooperation in hydrocarbon sector
Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia have held productive talks focusing on cooperation in the hydrocarbon sector and renewable energy projects, Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov announced on his social media page on X.
The meeting took place in Vienna between Shahbazov and Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman Al Saud, Minister of Energy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Caliber.Az writes, citing Shahbazov's post.

During the discussion, both sides addressed key issues on the bilateral energy agenda, including plans for the next meeting of the Joint Technical Commission.
Shahbazov highlighted cooperation opportunities with Saudi companies in the hydrocarbon sector, emphasising ongoing and future initiatives in renewable energy.
Discussions covered the commissioning of a 240 MW wind power plant and the implementation of a 3.5 GW offshore wind energy project, among other related initiatives, he said.
