Azerbaijan, OPEC discuss global oil market regulation in Vienna
Azerbaijan’s Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov and Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) Secretary General Haitham Al Ghais discussed global oil market regulation in Vienna on July 9.
The meeting took place at the OPEC Secretariat headquarters and focused on the current dynamics of the international oil market, with both sides emphasising the importance of maintaining stability through joint efforts, Caliber.Az reports per Shahbazov's X post.

Azerbaijan has been cooperating with OPEC+, an alliance of OPEC and non-OPEC oil-producing nations, since 2016, playing an active role in collective decisions aimed at stabilising oil prices and balancing supply and demand in the market.
