Turkish Interior Ministry: Two Russians die in helicopter crash

Governor of Denizli province in western Türkiye Ali Fuat Atik has said that a helicopter involved in extinguishing a forest fire crashed near Cardak village.
Rescue teams have been sent to the scene, Anadolu Agency reports.
In turn, Mayor of Cardak town Husnu Yilmaz noted that a helicopter crashed in Acigol town.
There were seven people on board.
The Turkish Ministry of Interior said that two Russians were in the crashed helicopter, the death toll rose to two, Gazeta.ru reports.
“The Ministry of Interior reports that there were two Russians and five Turks in a helicopter with seven crew members. Two people were killed and five were injured,” the message said.
