Türkiye detains 32 hackers planning to attack 10,000 websites

Thirty-two people have been detained in Ankara as part of an operation against cyber criminalists.
The detainees were planning to commit cyber-attacks on 10,000 websites, 450 of which belong to Turkish government agencies, according to TRT Haber.
As the counter-terrorism unit in charge of the operation, 42 people are being processed as part of the case. They were wanted in 19 different cities, including Ankara. During the search, a "large amount of digital material" as well as 830 pieces of synthetic drugs were seized from the detainees. Whether the alleged hackers belong to any group is not specified.
The detentions took place ahead of the Turkish presidential and parliamentary elections on May 14.
