Ukraine, Germany sign treaty on security guarantees

Ukraine and Germany have signed a bilateral agreement on security guarantees, European Pravda reports, citing Ukrainian presidential spokesman Serhiy Nikiforov.

The publication notes that the bilateral agreement was signed during Zelenskyy's visit to Berlin.

European Pravda goes on to say that the details of the agreements will be made public after the Ukrainian President and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz's joint briefing.

Earlier, it was announced that Zelenskyy had arrived in Berlin, where the Ukrainian head of state will meet German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and French President Emmanuel Macron on February 16, during which he is expected to sign an agreement on security guarantees for Kyiv.
