Ukraine shoots down four Russian Ka-52 helicopters within just 18 minutes

The Ukrainian military shot down four Russian Ka-52 helicopters within just 18 minutes on October 12. 

The number of downed targets may be more than four, RBC-Ukraine reports citing the Ukrainian Air Force.

“At least four Russian attack helicopters (probably Ka-52) were destroyed by anti-aircraft missile units of the Ukrainian Air Force in southern Ukraine from 8:40 through 8:58 (GMT+3),” the message says.

The helicopters supported the Russians in the southern direction.

“According to preliminary data, one helicopter fell on the territory liberated from the Russian troops, the rest ones - along the front line. The number of downed targets may be more than four,” the message said.
