US embassy appeals to Russians Expresses solidarity for seeking a peaceful future

The US Embassy has published a message to Russians on Twitter.

US diplomats expressed solidarity with those seeking a peaceful future.

"We believe that what is happening is not worthy of you and we stand in solidarity with each and every one of you who are seeking to create a more peaceful future," the embassy said in a statement.

The publication said Russia and the US share a commonality of cultures and achievements. In the attached video, the embassy recalls that Russian literature is taught in American schools, and Russian classical music is played in "the most prestigious cultural institutions" in the United States.
