"What if this was in Germany?" Bild added
The newspaper conveyed the severe earthquake that occurred in the Pazarjik district of Kahramanmarash to its readers by adapting the impact map to the German map.
"The earthquake area in Türkiye and Syria is so large that almost all of Germany would have been shaken. If the epicentre was in the middle of our country, only the southernmost and northernmost would not wobble," it said.
Stating that many regions in Germany would be heavily affected by the earthquake, Bild wrote: "Cities such as Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Wiesbaden, Dortmund, Würzburg, Mannheim, and Hanover would suffer the heaviest impact of this disaster and would be severely destroyed. Only in these city centres millions of people would be affected."
