Trump says Biden blocked Ukraine from striking Russia, only allowed defence

US President Donald Trump has again criticised former President Joe Biden’s handling of the war in Ukraine, claiming the conflict would never have erupted had he been in office.

In a post on his Truth Social platform, Trump argued that Ukraine is unable to win the war against Russia without striking targets inside Russian territory, Caliber.Az reports.

“It is very hard, if not impossible, to win a war without attacking an invaders country. It’s like a great team in sports that has a fantastic defense, but is not allowed to play offense. There is no chance of winning! It is like that with Ukraine and Russia. Crooked and grossly incompetent Joe Biden would not let Ukraine FIGHT BACK, only DEFEND,” he wrote.

He added that the war would have had “zero chance” of breaking out if it happened during his presidency.

“This is a war that would have NEVER happened if I were President - ZERO CHANCE. Interesting times ahead!!!” the US president finalised.
