Azerbaijani representative attends part II of 55th ADB annual meeting

The Azerbaijani Finance Ministry has said that Azerbaijan is represented in the second part of the 55th annual meeting of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), which kicked off in the capital of the Philippines, Manila on September 28.

The first part of the meeting was held in May 2022, Report informs referring to the ministry.

The agenda of the annual hybrid meeting (in-person and online) in the presence of ministers, senior state and government officials of member states, includes the ADB Annual Report 2021, the sustainable development goals in the Asia-Pacific region, new challenges after COVID-19 pandemic, diversification of national economies and other issues.

Azerbaijani Finance Minister Samir Sharifov joined the videoconference meeting of the ADB's Board of Directors. Members of the Board of Directors discussed the activity and financial results of the bank for the past year, and the spheres of the bank's activity for the coming years.
