Israeli FM: Decision on opening Azerbaijani embassy shows depth of strategic partnership
The decision on opening of the Azerbaijani embassy testifies of the depth of the strategic partnership.
The Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen said so at the opening ceremony of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Israel, APA reports.
He said high-ranking officials from Israel and the Jewish community are taking part in today's event.
"On behalf of the government and people of Israel, I thank President Aliyev for his leadership in making this decision. The Azerbaijani ambassador presented his credentials to our president a few days ago, I congratulate him on his start," Cohen said.
"The number of tourists coming to Azerbaijan from Israel is increasing," said Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen at the solemn opening ceremony of the Azerbaijani embassy in Israel, APA's special correspondent to Israel reports.
"I am looking forward to my visit to Azerbaijan in the near future after the Pascha (Easter) holiday. I believe that this visit will deepen our economic relations and lead to progress in the field of investment and trade. The potential for cooperation in this field is great, we will work to deepen economic relations," the minister noted.
