Israeli president to visit Azerbaijan soon

Israeli President Isaac Herzog will pay a visit to Azerbaijan on May 30.

The visit of the head of the Jewish state will last for two days, Report informs, citing The Jerusalem Post.

As part of the visit, Herzog plans to meet with representatives of the Jewish community of Azerbaijan and participate in a special event dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Israel's independence.

The Israeli leader will be accompanied in his Baku trip by Interior and Health Minister Moshe Arbel, who plans to discuss with his Azerbaijani counterparts cooperation in the medical field.

The sides are expected to sign an agreement on healthcare cooperation.
