Azerbaijan’s Mine Action Agency defuses over 30 unexploded ordnance in week

The Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA) has published weekly information on the operations which are carried out in the territories liberated from occupation by the mine clearance organisations.

Some 11 anti-personnel, eight anti-tank mines and 34 unexploded ordnance were revealed and defused in Tartar, Aghdam, Lachin, Fuzuli, Shusha, Kalbajar, Gubadli, Khojavand, Jabrayil and Zangilan districts during demining operations from September 11 to 17, ANAMA told Caliber.Az.

Some 195.7 hectares of territory were cleared of mines and unexploded ordnance.
