Azerbaijan has been actively engaged in mine action in the liberated lands since the end of the 44-day Second Karabakh War in 2020.

The country's government expanded international cooperation to facilitate the demining against one of the world's largest mine contamination.

National mine action agency ANAMA has been using cutting-edge minesweepers procured from overseas, as well as from local producers in mine clearance.
