Azerbaijani police continue demilitarisation of Khankendi Latest update

Azerbaijani police officers have once again found weapons and ammunition in the city of Khankendi as part of comprehensive measures.

Thus, 12 automatic rifles, 10 shotguns of different brands, three pistols, 10 hand grenades, 1,381 cartridges of different calibre, etc. were found and seized, the Interior Ministry's press service told Caliber.Az.

To recap, Azerbaijan carried out anti-terrorism measures on September 19-20, 2023 to restore its sovereignty over its internationally recognized Karabakh Economic Region. The local anti-terrorist measures were successfully implemented in Karabakh.

As a result of the withdrawal of the separatists from Aghdara, Khojavand, Khojaly and Khankendi, Azerbaijan fully restored its territorial integrity.
