Azerbaijan unveils plans for reconstruction of Hadrut, Tugh villages Dovlatyarli to become smart village
Sabuhi Abdullayev, Deputy Executive Director of the Rehabilitation, Construction and Management Service in Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavand districts, outlined ambitious plans for the restoration of Hadrut and Tugh villages in Azerbaijan, as he addressed the Caspian Construction Week.
According to Abdullayev, in Hadrut, Khojavand district, plans include the creation of recreational areas, a public square, a teahouse, an open exhibition space, children's playgrounds, a library, and parking facilities for 64 cars, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
Abdullayev detailed ongoing rehabilitation efforts, noting that demolition and vertical leveling work is in progress. The plan encompasses the rebuilding of 11 residential houses, four two-storey buildings, a one-storey post and communication center, and a three-storey hotel, all aimed at revitalizing the settlement.
Similarly, the restoration of Tugh village, also in Khojavand, is poised to enhance its status as a key tourist destination. Planned initiatives include the restoration of historical springs, repair of street infrastructure, and the reconstruction of 30 individual homes, a 360-seat school, and a 50-seat kindergarten.
Transitioning from village restoration efforts, Abdullayev revealed that Dovlatyarli village will be developed into a smart village utilizing green energy. The initial phase includes the construction of 450 private houses, along with essential infrastructure such as a school, kindergarten, market, and recreational areas.
Abdullayev also noted ongoing design work in Juvarli, Garghabazar, Gochahmadli, and Dadali villages, Fuzuli district, with rehabilitation efforts commencing in Pirahmadli village.
