Official: Azerbaijan's reconstruction projects in liberated lands have no analogues
The large-scale reconstruction efforts launched by the Azerbaijani government in territories liberated from occupation are being implemented entirely through national resources and are considered unprecedented globally, a senior official said.
Emin Huseynov, Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan in the Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavand districts, made the remarks at a conference hosted by the General Prosecutor's Office in Aghdam, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
He noted that Aghdam and Fuzuli had historically been densely populated and economically developed areas since Soviet times. According to Huseynov, the restoration process is being carried out in five structured stages, beginning with the drafting of general development plans.
He emphasised that these reconstruction projects, implemented without any foreign financial assistance, are unmatched in scope and approach worldwide.
