Azerbaijani fitness trainer returns to Baku after detention in Moscow VIDEO

Azerbaijani fitness trainer Kamil Zeynalli has returned to Baku after being detained at Moscow's Domodedovo airport the day before.

Family members, friends, war veterans and media representatives welcomed him at Baku International Airport, Caliber.Az reports.

Zeynalli thanked the President of Azerbaijan and all the structures involved in resolving his case for the attention they had shown.

"I did not think I would be able to return home so soon, and I prepared myself for the worst. I was declared wanted within the CIS, which shows once again how weak they are," he said.

It should be recalled that Zeynalli posted a video on his Instagram account in which he said that he had been detained by Russian police officers at Moscow's Domodedovo airport and taken to the department where they announced that he was being held at the request of Armenia, which had declared him wanted internationally.

"I hope for the support of our state structures. I am at the police station at the moment. I hope that everything is going to be sorted out. I ask Azerbaijan's state for help," Zeynalli said.
