Azerbaijani president pays tribute to Khojaly genocide victims with minute of silence

President Aliyev paid homage to the victims of the Khojaly genocide, which occurred on February 26, 1992, during the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. By visiting Khojaly on the anniversary of this atrocity, the President reiterated Azerbaijan's commitment to preserving the memory of those who lost their lives and seeking justice for the atrocities committed against its people.

In addition to commemorating the victims of the Khojaly genocide, President Aliyev laid a foundation stone for the Khojaly genocide memorial in the city of Khojaly.
