Tajikistan detains 20 ISIL members

Tajik authorities have apprehended over 20 members of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) terrorist organization, for allegedly plotting a mass poisoning attack ahead of the Navruz spring festival.

Tajik Prosecutor General Yusuf Rahmon explained that their criminal cases are currently under judicial review, Caliber.Az reports via Russian media.

He added that the investigation thoroughly examined their connections with other terrorist organizations, leading to various conclusions.
