Uzbekistan to start production of Russian drones

Russia has offered to set up production of civilian drones in Uzbekistan, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said.

He made the remarks at a joint commission meeting at the level of heads of government of the two countries, Caliber.Az reports, citing Mishustin’s Telegram page.

Moscow and Tashkent are considering the possibility of “localising in the republic the production of civilian unmanned aircraft systems and their components”, the official explained.

Russia also plans to organise production of railway engineering in Uzbekistan.
