Georgia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Maka Bochorishvili, has reaffirmed the importance of the country’s strategic partnership with Azerbaijan, noting that bilateral cooperation is delivering “tangible outcomes” across key sectors.

In an official statement on X, following the visit of Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov to Tbilisi, Bochorishvili described the relationship between the two nations as “a close friendship underpinned by shared interests and a common vision for regional stability,” Caliber.Az reports.

"The strategic partnership and close friendship between Georgia and Azerbaijan are already delivering tangible results. Our strong commitment will further enhance regional stability, prosperity, and connectivity,” she stated.

During his official visit on July 22, Minister Bayramov held high-level talks with President Mikheil Kavelashvili, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, Speaker of Parliament Shalva Papuashvili, and his Georgian counterpart.

The discussions focused on regional security, energy transit corridors, economic cooperation, and infrastructure integration, reflecting the deepening alignment between Tbilisi and Baku on strategic regional initiatives.

Both sides reiterated their commitment to strengthening diplomatic and economic ties, highlighting the pivotal role of the South Caucasus in fostering cross-border collaboration and ensuring long-term regional stability.
