Caspian pipeline consortium resumes oil exports via Novorossiysk terminal

27 July 2026 14:43

The Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) has resumed receiving crude oil from shippers and loading tankers at its marine terminal in Russia's Port of Novorossiysk, Kazakhstan's Energy Ministry said.

According to ministry spokesperson Asel Serikpaeva, the tankers SEAMAJESTY and MILOS are currently being loaded at two CPC offshore mooring points with crude supplied by Tengizchevroil LLP, Caliber.Az reports per Kazakh media

The resumption of operations allows oil producers to continue delivering crude into the CPC pipeline system and restart exports through the Novorossiysk terminal, one of the main export routes for Kazakh oil.

Serikpaeva said operations at the terminal are continuing in line with ongoing safety assessments and required operational measures. She added that the Kazakh Energy Ministry remains in close contact with CPC management, major oil shippers and other stakeholders to ensure the uninterrupted transportation of Kazakhstan's crude exports.

The ministry said it will continue monitoring the situation and coordinating efforts to maintain stable oil transit through the pipeline system.
