Iran warns Ukraine of response over attack on commercial vessel
Iran will not leave actions against the country unanswered, and Ukraine will soon understand that, Ebrahim Azizi, head of the Iranian parliament's National Security Commission, said.
"Any attack on Iran always comes with a cost, and that remains true today; the U.S. and Israel are well aware of this. Ukraine, too, may soon come to understand that Iran does not let actions go unanswered.
The list of those who have miscalculated continues to increase!" Azizi wrote on his X account.

On July 25, Iran's Foreign Ministry stated that Ukraine had struck an Iranian commercial vessel in the Caspian Sea, resulting in the death of a crew member.
According to Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, Kyiv carried out the attack at Israel's behest in an effort to draw Europe into the war in the Middle East.
