Bayraktar AKINCI successfully completes flight tests VIDEO

Baykar’s strike UAV, the Bayraktar AKINCI, has successfully completed flight tests equipped with the advanced AF-600 electro-optical camera system.

Selçuk Bayraktar, Baykar’s Chief Technology Officer and Chairman, announced the milestone on X, stating, “Our eyes are even sharper now,” Caliber.Az reports.

The flight tests were conducted in collaboration between Baykar and defence technology company Aselsan.

The new AF-600 gimbal enhances the AKINCI’s target detection capabilities and ensures high-quality image transmission, improving the drone’s operational effectiveness.

Bayraktar highlighted the importance of this achievement for advancing Türkiye's defence industry and expanding the operational scope of the AKINCI UAV.
