Russia claims 33 Ukrainian drones shot down overnight

Russia’s Ministry of Defence has announced that its air defence systems intercepted and destroyed 33 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) during the night across several regions of the country.

According to the statement, the highest number of drones—12 in total—were downed over the Tula Region. Another 11 UAVs were reportedly destroyed over the Rostov Region, six over the Nizhny Novgorod Region, two over Bryansk, and one each over the Kursk and Kaluga Regions.
