Armenia, EU initiate visa liberalization talks
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that Armenia and the European Union have officially launched negotiations on visa liberalization.
The development came during a meeting with European Commission Vice President Margaritis Schinas, Caliber.Az reports via Russian media.
Pashinyan hailed the advancements in the bilateral relationship, highlighting that the commencement of visa liberalization talks is a significant milestone.
The Armenian Prime Minister also pointed out the EU’s decision to provide support to Armenia through the European Peace Facility, which he praised as a valuable contribution.
The new phase of discussions aims to facilitate easier travel between Armenia and the EU, marking a key step in strengthening the partnership between Yerevan and Brussels.
