Russian defence enterprise in Ulyanovsk reportedly hit in attack

A Russian defence-related enterprise in Ulyanovsk, Russia, was reportedly hit in an attack, according to Exilenova+.

The report said the target was the Iskra Plant, a research and production enterprise that is part of the Almaz-Antey concern.

The plant specialises in producing components for radio-electronic equipment, measuring instruments, communications systems and specialised equipment.

As part of a production partnership involving Kh-59M2/M2A guided missiles, the plant supplies transistor pairs of the 3OT127A type to the Yaroslavl Radio Plant. These components are used in the production of SB-1AM television transmitters, which form part of the T1A-02 equipment.
