Azerbaijan allocates over $2.7 million for Boyukshor-Pirshagi highway construction

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order "On measures for the design and construction of the Boyukshor-Pirshagi highway".

According to the document, to reduce the traffic congestion of Baku, 4.7 million manats ($2.76 million) were initially allocated to the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads from the president’s reserve fund envisaged in the 2023 state budget for the design and construction of the six-lane Boyukshor-Pirshagi highway with a length of 12.7 km, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Azerbaijan president’s official website.
