Azerbaijan appoints Elchin Huseynli ambassador to Italy Presidential decree

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has appointed Elchin Huseynli as the country's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Italy, according to a presidential decree issued on July 28.

Under a separate decree, Huseynli was relieved of his duties as Azerbaijan's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to India.

He was also recalled from his concurrent diplomatic postings to Bangladesh, Bhutan, the Maldives, Nepal and Sri Lanka.
