Azerbaijan approves customs protocol with Kyrgyzstan
President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree approving the "Protocol between the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the State Customs Service under the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic on cooperation in the field of information exchange on mutual trade statistics."
According to Caliber.Az, this protocol, signed on April 24, 2024, in Baku, aims to enhance cooperation and information sharing between the customs authorities of Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan. The State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan is tasked with ensuring the implementation of the protocol's provisions once it comes into force.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan will notify the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic regarding the fulfilment of domestic procedures required for the protocol's activation.
In addition, President Aliyev has approved the "Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic on cooperation in the field of education and science." This agreement signifies a commitment to strengthen educational and scientific collaboration between the two countries, fostering mutual development and exchange in these crucial fields.
