Azerbaijan clears Khankendi City of Armenian-left arms

Azerbaijani police officers have once again found weapons and ammunition in the city of Khankendi within the framework of complex measures.

The Interior Ministry's press service told Caliber.Az that in particular, eight automatic rifles, three pistols, 10 hand grenades, a shotgun, 4,060 cartridges of different calibre, etc. were found and seized.

To recap, Azerbaijan carried out anti-terrorism measures on September 19-20, 2023 to restore its sovereignty over its internationally recognized Karabakh Economic Region. The local anti-terrorist measures were successfully implemented in Karabakh.

As a result of the withdrawal of the separatists from Aghdara, Khojavand, Khojaly and Khankendi, Azerbaijan fully restored its territorial integrity.
