Azerbaijan confers highest military ranks to servicemen Presidential order

The highest military ranks have been conferred to a group of Azerbaijani servicemen.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order "On conferring the highest military ranks to servicemen of the Defence Ministry of the Republic of Azerbaijan", Caliber.Az reports referring to Azertag.

Among these servicemen are:

Major General Zakir Aghayev

Major General Azer Aliyev

Military rank "Major General"

Colonel Nijad Garayev

Colonel Akif Pirverdiyev

Colonel Zaur Rustamov

Colonel Eldaniz Yahyaev

Military rank "Major General of the Medical Service"

Colonel of Medical Service Firudin Nabiyev.
