Azerbaijan, Council of Europe discuss future cooperation in Antalya meeting

On April 12, in the picturesque city of Antalya, a significant meeting took place between the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, and the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Alain Berset.

As reported by Caliber.Az, the details of the meeting were shared on the official website of the President.

During the discussions, both leaders expressed satisfaction with Alain Berset’s recent visit to Azerbaijan in the context of COP29 and his fruitful meeting with President Aliyev. It was emphasized once again that COP29 had resulted in pivotal decisions aimed at advancing the global climate agenda.

The two sides also engaged in a productive exchange of views, focusing on the promising prospects for strengthening cooperation between Azerbaijan and the executive institutions of the Council of Europe, underscoring a shared commitment to mutual progress and collaboration in various sectors.
