Azerbaijan establishes COP29 Organising Committee

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order on the establishment of the Organising Committee of COP29, Caliber.Az reports citing the official website of the head of state.

The order was endorsed in connection with the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), the 19th session of the Meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol and the 6th session of the Meeting of the Parties to the Paris Agreement to be held in Baku this year.

Head of the Presidential Administration Samir Nuriyev has been appointed the Chairman of the Organising Committee.
