Azerbaijan officially opens embassy in Bahrain Order by President
Azerbaijan has formally established an embassy in the Kingdom of Bahrain, marking a significant step in strengthening diplomatic ties between the two nations.
President Ilham Aliyev signed a law authorising the opening of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Manama, the capital of Bahrain, Caliber.Az reports, citing the official website of the Azerbaijani leader.
President Aliyev also issued an Order aimed at ensuring the effective operation of the newly established diplomatic mission. Under the Order, the Cabinet of Ministers has been tasked with resolving matters related to the embassy’s financing and logistical support.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been instructed to finalise the structure and approve the staffing of the embassy.
