Azerbaijan, Pakistan commend bilateral ties across various sectors PHOTO
Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev and Pakistan’s Petroleum Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik praised the ongoing development of bilateral relations between the two countries across various sectors, including energy, during a meeting on June 2.
The officials reflected on the recent trilateral meeting in Lachin involving the presidents of Azerbaijan, Türkiye, and the prime minister of Pakistan, describing it as a strong demonstration of brotherhood and solidarity among the nations, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
Both sides highlighted the importance of the 30th Anniversary International Caspian Oil and Gas Exhibition and the 13th Caspian International Power and Green Energy Exhibition held during Baku Energy Week. They acknowledged these events as key platforms for fostering global cooperation in energy.
The discussion centered on prospects for mutual cooperation in traditional and renewable energy fields. Additionally, Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik invited Azerbaijani companies to explore business opportunities within Pakistan’s energy sector.
