Azerbaijan revises composition of bilateral commission with Kazakhstan

President Ilham Aliyev has approved changes to the composition of the joint intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, according to information published on the official website of the head of state and cited by Caliber.Az.

Under the revised structure, Deputy Prime Minister Samir Sharifov has been appointed chairman of the commission from the Azerbaijani side, replacing the previous chair, Minister of Energy Parviz Shabazov.

The updated composition of the commission also includes the Deputy Minister of Energy, the Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources, and the head of the Department for International Cooperation of the Cabinet of Ministers.
